Cette semaine intense et stimulante permettra à certains de découvrir l'art de l'acteur et d'avoir un avis professionnel sur leurs aptitudes. Pour les autres, ce sera l'occasion d'une mise au point sur leur niveau afin de mieux cibler leurs acquis et de trouver de nouvelles pistes de recherche.Ce stage permet aux stagiaires qui le souhaitent d’intégrer la formation de l’acteur, dès septembre 2022, sur validation du chargé de stage, dans un de nos quatre campus de Paris, Bruxelles, Montpellier ou Bordeaux. Les candidat(e)s admis(es) de plus de 35 ans seront reçu(e)s par la Directrice Déléguée à la Pédagogie afin de valider leur inscription dans le cursus de formation. All of these different friendships and how they affect our experiences and identities add up to a significant social phenomenon. And yet, friendship is hardly ever studied. It remains surprisingly absent from knowledge institutions and cultural or political events (often shaded by romantic love or family ties). The curatorial collective Dis Mon Nom wants to change that. Their goal is to host a multi-day friendship festival in the future. Notes from Dancing on Both Sides of the Atlantic, published in September 2023. What do 'folklore', 'popular' and 'academic' mean within the different dance contexts of the global North and South? What mother tongues inhabit dance and performance? And what role can translation play? Embracing the complexity of the untranslatable, it explores how 'conflicted embodiment' can be a research tool for how a body navigates through migration, colonialism and dance.From 2021 to 2023, caterina daniela mora jara was one of workspacebrussels' resident artists. Her trajectory culminated in a publication that inspired this reading group. At home in both academic and folkloric dance, caterina's work questions dominant ways of producing work and the colonial legacy in the representation of Western dance. Que signifient « folklore », « populaire » et « académique » dans des contextes de danse différents, au Nord et au Sud ? Quelles langues maternelles habitent la danse et le spectacle ? En embrassant la complexité de l’intraduisible, elle explore de quelle manière « l’incarnation conflictuelle » peut être un outil de recherche sur la façon dont un corps navigue à travers la migration, le colonialisme et la danse.• De 2021 à 2023, caterina daniela mora jara était l’une des artistes en résidence à workspacebrussels. Son parcours a abouti à une publication qui a inspiré ce groupe de lecture. Aussi à l’aise dans la danse académique que folklorique, son œuvre interroge les modes de production dominants de créations artistiques et l’héritage colonial dans la représentation de la danse occidentale. Elle est actuellement doctorante à Uniarts/Stockholm University of the Arts.
