Zaterdag 8 oktober komt de Abba Fever Live Show naar ZWAAG!!!!

De muziek van ABBA trekt al meer dan 40 jaar alle generaties over de hele wereld de dansvloer op. Een complete 9-koppige liveband, met twee fantastische zangeressen als Agnetha en Frida en twee ras muzikanten als Björn en Benny, aangevuld met een 5-koppige swingende liveband, zorgt A*Fever voor een ware revival van een ABBA-concert!!

Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia en Waterloo: geen enkele ABBA-tophit wordt overgeslagen....

Bezield door één passie, muziek maken, heeft The Rosenberg Trio de wereld veroverd. Ze speelden op vele grote jazzfestivals en in s’ werelds belangrijkste concertzalen: o.a. Festival International de Jazz de Montreal, North Sea Jazz, Django Reinhardt Festival in Samois, Jazz In Marciac, Jazz à Vienne, Carnegie Hall New York, The Rose Bowl Los Angeles en het Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Ook speelden ze samen met grote musici, zoals Toots Thielemans, Jan Akkerman, Stéphane Grappelli, Herman van Veen, Jaap van Zweden, Louis van Dijk, Peter Beets, enz. Het trio stond in het voorprogramma van Shirley Bassey, Randy Crawford, en Luciano Pavarotti. De afgelopen 35 jaar heeft The Rosenberg Trio over de hele wereld gespeeld en hebben naam gemaakt als de crème de la crème binnen het gypsy-jazz genre, bewonderd door fans wereldwijd en door gitaristen uit verschillende muzikale genres. Al die jaren vertegenwoordigt The Rosenberg Trio nog steeds de “essentie van gypsy jazz”, waarbij ze tevens door hun samenspel met muzikanten uit andere genres hebben laten zien zich muzikaal gezien breed ontwikkeld te hebben.

Beginning in spring 2024 with a series of concerts and workshops in Europe and Israel, the tour will continue through the US, Canada, and Latin America in the fall. Snatam is celebrated for her incandescent luminous voice and profound knowledge of mantra. Accompanied by gifted, versatile musicians, her concerts are joyous, transformational experiences providing participants an experience of the healing energy of the heart that can be activated by chanting. Audiences are invited to join Snatam in these deeply personal and jubilant sacred song journeys that arc from quiet introspection, to tapping into self-acceptance, self-love, self-awareness, and forgiveness, then arriving at a healing space of giving oneself over to mantra, before moving into the light of pure celebration, and finally a shared space of prayer and blessings. Between each song, we will take a moment to discuss our thoughts, dissect lyrics and locate easter eggs. Preliminary Programme 18:30 - 19:00: Reception 19:00 - 19:30: Opening 19:30 - 21:30: Listen session and discussion 21:30 - 22:00: Drinks at Meneer Potter Practical information Taylor Swift Release Night will be held in the Theater of Neude Library. During reception, you will be received by the Taylor Swift Night NL team and are invited to join us for a drink. The listen session will be a seated, interactive activity with a moderated discussion throughout. After the session is over, we invite you for a drink in the Café on the ground floor of the library. The Theater has a high quality sound system that is used for musical performances, movies and concerts, making it the optimal location for Release Night. The Meteors waren een van de grondleggers van psychobilly, back in the day van de Londense KLub Foot waar de band in de begindagen vaak speelde. Nu ruim 40 jaar later hebben deze Kings Of Psychobilly meer dan 30 (!) albums opgenomen en meer dan 4500 concerten in alle uithoeken van de aarde gespeeld. Frontman Paul Fenech, het enige oerlid, had ook nog eens tijd om vijf soloalbums uit te brengen. Laatste plaat uit 2021 Skull N Bones doet eens te meer recht aan de leus van de band ‘Only The Meteors Are Pure Psychobilly’. Enige Nederlandse show.

Japan en Rock n Roll is een gouden combinatie en ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK is daar een treffend voorbeeld. Actief sinds 1994 (!) en nog steeds met name live een sensatie. Na tours met onder andere DANKO JONES en BLOODHOUND GANG kan niemand meer om deze elektrische palingen heen en zie daar anno 2023 staat dit Japanse trio weer klaar om met hun vernietigende rocksound en aanstekelijk energieke liveshow de podia en festivals in Europa met de grond gelijk te maken.
